DEWmocracy a great 2.0 marketing example

I watched this ad on american television yesterday night. I have been very interested by the concept.

Mountain Dew, the famouns US softdrink company, launches the Dewmocracy, a 2.0 marketing campaign aiming to create the next Mountain Dew product. As I have said, they had a TV advertisement, a website, and a buzz marketing online campaign to promote this new project.

I really like the creation, with the dewmocraty theme, as it represents well the revolution of the 2.0, where clients participate to the strategy of the company. The customers will be able to create the product from A to Z, picking the flavor, the colour and design of the bottle etc...

Mountain Dew shows by this project it understood well the 2.0 revolution. Customers can create the drink they want to drink. Indeed, customers that are participating to this project have a deep impact on the production process. They are defining the product they want, and therefore the company has fewer chances not to fit customers needs and will.
